Representatives of 7 companies selected as Jeonnam Regional Innovation Leading Companies attended the launching ceremony of “Regional Innovation Leading Companies 100” held at EXCO in Daegu on the afternoon of the 17th and received a selection letter.

Seven companies leading regional innovation in Jeonnam will receive approximately KRW 1.1 billion in budget for three years for R&D and commercialization support jointly with collaborating companies/institutions. Based on the performance of the application, it is possible to extend it once, so that approximately KRW 1.1 billion of additional support can be received for an additional 3 years.

 

Samwoo Eco Co., Ltd. located in Jeollanam-do was awarded the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award for contribution to the regional innovation industry at the inauguration ceremony.

 

At the inauguration ceremony, 19 organizations, including the Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business, 14 cities and provinces including Jeollanam-do, the Ministry of Small and Medium Venture Business, the Small and Medium Business Technology Information Agency, the Small and Medium Venture Business Promotion Corporation, and the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Promotion Corporation signed a business agreement ceremony to support local innovative leading companies. proceeded.

 

Kim Jong-gap, head of the Strategic Industry Bureau of Jeollanam-do, who attended the launching ceremony, said, “We will actively nurture and support regional innovative leading companies to strengthen the collaboration ecosystem between local small and medium-sized businesses so that they can grow into a key industry in the region.”

 

In addition, Director Oh Ik-hyeon of Jeonnam Techno Park said, “The project to foster regional innovative companies is expected to contribute to driving the ecosystem of regional flagship industries and promoting the growth of front and rear industries by grafting collaboration between companies in the province.
